Top 5 LinkedIn Ads updates in second quarter

Let’s start the week with 5 updates that have a big impact on your LinkedIn ads strategies.
1. Thought leader ads:
Let your employees do the talking. Choose the best-performing personal posts and start advertising them. Select a single image, browse existing content, and send it for approval. This update isn’t visible in each account yet, so check your account regularly.
2. Audience network publisher list
You can finally see where your ads are shown when the audience network is toggled on. Go to brand safety, browse existing content, and download the publisher list. Start analyzing your placements.
3. Campaign quality score
Introducing a new metric. How can you improve this? The number of ads should be less than 4 for good results. The audience size should follow the minimum 50k rule. Daily and lifetime budgets are also important factors to consider. Think of it as Google Ads quality score. CTR, landing page, and copy have an impact. You need to select all your campaigns and extract data in Excel to analyze this metric.
4. Conversation ads 2.0:
New update! It is more intuitive and impactful. Member-initiated conversation, cost per click (instead of cost per view!), and frequency cap: 3 impressions every 7 days. This update improves efficient conversations and results.
5. Messaging to company pages
This has no immediate impact on your ads but most ads are linked to company pages. So when you send users to your company page, it is now easier to communicate with your business.
