As a LinkedIn marketing agency, we closely track performance metrics across ad formats and geographies to inform campaign optimization. Comparing benchmarks between Israel and the USA reveals intriguing insights.

    In Israel:

👉 Text ads drive 0.45% CTR and $0.55 CPC
👉 Dynamic ads see 0.65% CTR, 2.1% conversion rate at $0.42 CPC
👉 Video ads achieve 0.62% CTR, 2.3% conversion rate at $0.36 CPC

    In contrast, US benchmarks show:
👉 0.11% CTR and $0.76 CPC for text ads
👉 0.19% CTR, 1.8% conversion rate at $0.47 CPC for dynamic ads
👉 0.22% CTR and 2.1% conversion rate at $0.31 CPC for video ads

    The implications?

While text ads can deliver decent reach, dynamic and video ads yield much stronger results in Israel - aligning with higher engagement levels amongst professional audiences.

For Israeli marketers targeting professionals on LinkedIn, video and dynamic creative optimized for mobile surfaces are the greatest opportunities.

To maximize LinkedIn returns in Israel, video and dynamic ads should form the cornerstone of lead gen and pipeline campaigns.

Now let's compare benchmarks between the Israeli and us market

The table below summarizes the average LinkedIn advertising metrics in each country:

Metric - Israel - United States

    Click-through rate (CTR) - 0.52% - 0.60%
    Engagement rate (ER) - 1.17% - 1.30%
    Cost per mille (CPM) - $24.25 - $22.62
    Cost per click (CPC) - $5.20 - $5.52

Overall, benchmarks in Israel trend slightly lower than the US potentially due to smaller audience size, higher competition, and targeting limitations.
However, single job ads in Israel massively over-index on engagement at over 2X the US benchmark. This suggests that Israeli professionals are more receptive to relevant job opportunities on LinkedIn.

Notable differences between the two countries include:
Significantly higher video ad CTR in the US

Lower CPM for document ads in Israel
Much higher CPC for single job ads in Israel
These insights should inform campaign objectives, budgets, and creative strategies targeting either geography. While costs per lead run higher in Israel, stellar engagement demonstrates the huge potential to efficiently build pipelines.
