2023 started fast and furious with some great lectures and meetings for strategic clients.

But then yesterday when I was preparing my presentation on linkedin for my academic course at Ono Academic College I received an e-mail from LinkedIn with the recording of
A professional lecture by the magnificent Iris Shoor.
Iris Shoor included practical explanations of how to build a more professional and attractive LinkedIn profile and also dealt with recommendations for building a solid online presence and increasing the number of followers.
Here are her highlights from yesterday's lecture:
Use your privacy setting mode and make it unpublish till you complete your profile
Iris also pointed a great 8 points to a rock star profile
use humor and a personal touch even if it's not related to your business of work
use the unpublish button on your setting till you get to the "all-star" stage and then publish it.
Use a professional profile picture and use filters to clean the background.
use video + video peach in your profile picture
Write a compelling headline: Your LinkedIn headline appears under your name and should summarize your professional identity in a few words. Use keywords that relate to your industry and highlight your expertise and accomplishments.
Create a comprehensive summary: The summary section is an opportunity to showcase your professional brand. Use it to highlight your skills, experience, and achievements.
Add your work experience: Make sure to list your current and past job titles, the companies you've worked for, and your responsibilities and accomplishments in each role.
Include your education: Don't forget to list your educational background, including the degree you earned, the school you attended, and any relevant coursework.
Add skills and endorsements: LinkedIn allows you to list your skills and receive endorsements from your connections. Choose skills relevant to your industry and consider asking for endorsements from coworkers or clients.
Use relevant keywords: LinkedIn's search algorithm favors profiles that use relevant keywords. Include industry-specific terms and phrases in your profile to improve your visibility to recruiters and other professionals.
So today I felt smarter and more updated.
Thank Iris Shoor for your time and valuable info 😎
P.S: that's me with the "Madona" lecturing to my students in our digital advertising workshop :)
