It was a pleasure to be invited to serve as a mentor for the Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering hackathon for developing marketing and technological solutions to improve Israel's public diplomacy.

I was even more excited to discover a group of very talented people, some techies, some marketers, and digital experts.

Getting to meet colleagues like Odem Alagem אודם Daniel Dayan, and of course, the amazing Dganit Citrin Bar-on from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering was awesome.

it was also fun and a bit exciting reconnecting with a childhood friend, Oshri Weiss who lent his marketing and behavioral research expertise.

I was blown away by the contributions of many participants.
I met two 21-22-year-olds who started a war advocacy center with 25,000 volunteers raised decent budgets and partnered with tech companies as soon as the war started.

Due to the need to find quick changes and improvisations, I think this situation will also drive new technologies across many tech fields.
Thanks, Afeka I was honored to participate in the hackathon.
